We are sorry if we have got things wrong in your treatment. We are always keen to hear how we can improve.

If you let us know that you are unhappy or happy with your treatment, we will acknowledge receipt of this information.

If it is positive we will let the person who made a positive difference know. They will be thanked and added to our newsletter.

If you are unhappy, we will find out what went wrong and can be improved. We will write to you and let you know what we have found out and what we will do to stop it from happening again. 

This is the process the service follows when complaints are raised:

  1. The service is notified via email, post, phone call or somebody speaking to a clinician
  2. Send acknowledgement and explain the process
  3. Investigate the issue, this may include asking for more detail
  4. Provide an explanation of what is found out about what has happened
  5. Explain how the service will stop this happening again
  6. Provide a final outcome

We will always aim to resolve the complaint at the earliest stage.
